On the 16th of February 2023, Côte d’Or celebrated its 140th birthday by hosting a memorable event inside of the Atomium together with Belgian employees, icons, influencers and press.
140 years of delicious Côte d’Or chocolate, the perfect occasion to celebrate! Together with Mondelēz Belgium, Amphion and Fast Forward, we organized an exclusive event inside of the Atomium and took care of all influencer marketing partnerships and press relations.
After making a curated list of invitees, we sent out a digital ‘Save The Date’ and a bit later we made sure our invitees got a unique invitation delivered at home, which was a Classic Côte d’Or bar wrapped in the invite. We also sent out 2 press releases filled with the history of Côte d’Or and what’s still to come for the 140th birthday.
Together with our partners we (literally) lit up the sky by colouring the Atomium in Côte d’Or red. We invited several Belgian icons during the event, who told us a bit more about their iconic Belgian moments: Sandra Kim, Laura Tesoro, Jean-Marie Pfaff, Nia Elyn, Lore Jacobs, Roger De Vlaeminck, Julie Hendrickx and Viktor Verschaeve. Besides that, we also invited influencers, journalists, and Mondelēz employees to the event. They could all enjoy a magical evening filled with Côte d’Or chocolate, memorable stories, and all the above inside Belgium’s most iconic monument.
It was an amazing evening that resulted in more than 290 Instagram Stories, 5 Instagram Posts, 4 Instagram Reels and 2 TikTok videos with a potential reach of more than 3.4 million of our influencers, only about that night.
We also got a huge media coverage with 22 print articles, 21 online articles and 3 audiovisual mentions including VTM Nieuws, with a potential reach of more than 27.6 million.
