L’Occitane: Shea collection renewed

L’Occitane has renewed its Shea formula, celebrating women empowerment.

At the beginning of 2022, L’Occitane has given its universal Shea collection an upgrade. The renewed formula now consists of at least 95% natural ingredients and beside that, L’Occitane is helping to improve the work circumstances for women in Burkina Faso by working close with them. To celebrate this women empowerment and renewed formula, we set up an influencer campaign.

L’Occitane wanted to put a spotlight on the renewed formula as well as the renewed packaging that can now be re-used. We sent out packages to 27 influencers with the Shea products like the handcream, facecream, scrub…  We asked the influencers to include something specific in their content, which was making a little heart on their skin with the Shea products. By doing so, the campaign could enjoy recognition. This resulted in very beautiful content on Instagram with a focus on the Shea products.

The response was excellent and can be seen in the campaign’s outcome. In total, there appeared 10 Instagram Posts and 212 Instagram Stories posted by the influencers. This social media publicity translated itself into a potential reach of more than 700.000 and the Instagram posts have an engagement rate of 4,1%. Since we work for L’Occitane on yearly basis we have a ROI of above 1.000%.
